Professor of Cadastre at the School of Rural and Surveying Engineering, Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki, (AUTH).
He got his diploma in Rural and Surveying Engineering - AUTH (1981) and his PhD in 1986 from the same University.
He is Member of the Technical Chamber of Greece- Northern Greece Section and Vice President of the board of directors in the SENGA and HellasGI (1997-99). He served as Director of the Department of Cadastre, Photogrammetry and Chartography, more than once but also as Vice Dean of the School (2007-2009). He was Director of the Postgraduate course of the same School for the Period 2003-2005.
He has been very active in various national and international organizations representing Greece. He has extensive research activity with more than 30 national and international research projects and related publications.
