John Sayas is an economist geographer, urban and regional planner, working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography and Regional Planning, School of Rural and Surveying Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens. He specialises in the field of Socioeconomic Geography and Spatial Analysis Methods. He has participated in many research projects related to the social, economic and spatial aspects of unequal socio-spatial development processes, Regional and Urban policies. He has published many articles related to: the evolution of urban space, the institutions of urban and regional planning, national settlement policies.
