Efi Dimopoulou has a diploma in Rural and Surveying Engineering NTUA (1983), and a PhD, NTUA (1996).
At present she is Assistant Professor at the School of Rural and Surveying Engineering, NTUA, in the field of “Cadastre”, “Land Policy” and “Land Information Systems”.
Member of ACTIM (Agence pour la Cooperation Technique, Industrielle et Economique), (1984), of the International Federation of Surveyors –FIG, as correspondent member (1998), elected member of the Bureau of Hellenic Geographical Information Society – Hellas GIs (1999-2002) and Secretary General of Hellas GIs (2006-today). Visiting Assistant Professor, School of Architecture, University of Patras (2000-05).
She has participated in Scientific Committees of the Technical Chamber of Greece (1986-95) and the Hellenic Mapping and Cadastral Organization – HEMCO (1987-96), in 17 Funded Research Projects (1988-today) and in 7 seminars as instructor. She published more than 40 papers in Greek, International Journals and Congress Proceedings.
Research interests: Spatial Info Management, Land Information Systems, Cadastre, GIS.
