Short CV - Publications

Thomas Hatzichristos holds a Diploma in Rural and Surveying Engineering, NTUA (1991), and a PhD from, National Technical University, Athens, (1999) on Geographic Information Systems, (Delineation of Ecoregions by means of Artificial Intelligence)
During 1998-2000 he held the position of Lecturer (Π.Δ.407/80) in Computers and Geographic Information Systems, at the Dept. of Geography, University of the Aegean. Since September 2000, he is lecturing at the Dept. of Geography and Regional Planning, School of Rural and Surveying Engineering, NTUA,
He has participated in many national and EU research projects, frequently as senior researcher, in the Department of Geography and Regional Planning, NTUA; Department of Electrical Engineering, NTUA; Departments of Chemistry and Computer Science, Athens University, Department of Geography, University of the Aegean; Department of Regional Planning, University of Thessaly, as well as Department of European Civilization of the Greek Open University. He has a rich professional experience in GIS and Land Information Systems
His research interests include Geographic Information Systems, Fuzzy Sets, Strategic Assessment Methods, and Foresight Methodologies.
