Chrysaida- Aliki Papadopoulou has a Diploma in Rural and Surveying Engineering (2008) from NTUA (National Technical University of Athens). Her diploma thesis was on ‘Scenario Planning for Greek Railway’s Development’. She also holds an M.Sc from NTUA in “Geoinformatics” (2011) and her thesis was on ‘Processing and Representation of Optimum Shortest Paths in Road Networks’ with the support of webGIS and spatial databases technologies. At present she is a Ph.d candidate working on “Participatory Models in Regional Planning”. Her research interests are on GIS-webGIS technologies, Geoinformatics, Spatial Models and Regional Development. She is a member of several scientific associations and participated in several international conferences.
