Vicky Katsoni got her Bacholor’s Degree in Economics from the National University of Athens in 1988. In 1990 she got her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Keele University in a Joint Superivision Course with Nottingham University, United Kingdom and in 2011 her Ph.D in Marketing Management and ICTs in Tourism form the Panteion University of Athens. She has a 16 years working experience in various managerial positions in the tourism industry. She has been working as a Lecturer at the Tourism Department of TEI since 1991, and today is an Assistant Professor at TEI of Athens and a visitor professor at Krems University of Applied Sciences, Austria. She has published 5 books in tourism and has many refereed articles in several international journals. She is working as specialist on Tourism Education and Network Development Committee a for the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and as a researcher for the Ministry of Development, for the 3rd EU Framework Programme, in the Operational Programme of Competitiveness.
